People That Count.
Mark 8:22
In the first article I told us of a story of a young man who was deaf and dumb and the implication of this in our lives. In this article we will be talking about another young man with another kind of defect in his life. The scripture tells us of this young man who was BLIND, which means his sense of sight had stopped functioning. Eyes in the bible days can be termed to mean VISION, imagine a young man who suddenly wakes up one morning and finds out that he could no longer see again or lets say a man who suddenly wakes up and discovered in his mid life that his life has no bearing (now that’s bad you know). People can still bear with a man who lost his sense of hearing and speech, but a lost of eyes that is a HUGE loss. A wise man said “where there is no VISION the people are confused” so that man would have been living in a state of confusion if not for the people who were able to help him out of his predicament. There are people who we should always have in our lives, they are people who everyday strife to always see us attain the same height with them, succeed like they do, prosper like they do and become better like them too. People of his kind will get us to become who God has ordained us to be and also they will go any length to see that our lives are far better than it has been. That was the reason why this blind man in this story was able to get his miracle for the people around him were so desperate to see him recover his sight (or say have vision for his life) so he could be able to also do the things they were able to do too. I challenge you today look at the people in your life today and see if they challenge you to BE better than you are or like them (only if they are ahead of you). A wise man once told me “show me your friends and I will tell you what your future will look like”, lets learn to always have the right people around us at all times because they will make better our lives and catapult us into GREATNESS.
