"At the end of every seven years you must cancel debts. This is how it is to be done: Every creditor shall cancel the loan he has made to his fellow Israelite. He shall not require payment from his fellow Israelite or brother, because the LORD's time for canceling debts has been proclaimed. However, there should be no poor among you, for in the land the LORD your God is giving you to possess as your inheritance, he will richly bless you, if only you fully obey the LORD your God and are careful to follow all these commands…" Deuteronomy 15:1-2, 4-5
I believe this year will be the year that God's people - those who walk in His Word and His anointing - will receive His abundance. God in His loving and nurturing nature wants His children to be blessed. We are to be the head and not the tail. We are to be above and not beneath. As the children of the Most High God, we are to walk in the blessings of the King.
The above scripture declares that if we obey the Lord and follow His commands that He has promised us blessings. Specifically, it says that the seventh year is the year of canceling debts. It also says that if we excuse a financial debt from our neighbor that God will give us increase. Are you looking for a financial blessing from the Lord in the year 2007? God may be waiting on you to forgive what someone else owes you before He opens the windows of Heaven for you.
